Notes

I knit this 2 years ago out of the exact same yarn and loved it so much, I need to do it again, in a different colorway! Going for a less baggy fit this time. Medium was just huge for some reason, especially in neck & sleeves!

Using k1fb increases instead of lifted incs. This video taught me how to do p1fb for raglans correctly.

Numbers:
-Neck @ 84 sts (size XS), cast on and ribbing on US 2
Work body sts w/ US 5.

-Used XS #s for short rows (124 sts total after short rows were done). Now will start following for S.

09-23-2024

At waist, switched to US 6 to fit my tummy & hips better. Finished 3rd skein and am holding body sts on waste yarn, to work on sleeves for awhile.

With US 6, start with 62 sts from waste yarn. Pick up 6 underarm. Next rnd, dec 1 on ea side to close gap = bicep starting on 66 sts.

66 seems nice for bicep. Dec. down to 62 for elbow, planning on 50 for forearm.

11-02-2024

…and then Hurricane Helene happened, and everything got destroyed (felt like). I didn’t knit for like 5 weeks. Today I finished sleeve 1. Used a tubular bind off to match the neck. Time for sleeve 2. Everything feels like a slog… and then it seems like it’s going to somehow work out. At least I can knit with this perfect yarn.
