Another pair of shoes knitted up (mostly) in an evening.

I’m not sure this fine, soft wool actually is DK, even with its fuzzy halo, and I think the shoes may be smaller than the last pair. Unfortunately I’ve already posted those off so have nothing to compare these with. There’s nothing for it but to do yet another pair….

Completed. And another pair in navy definitely-DK, which are slightly larger but a lot denser and less stretchy.
I used a thumb cast-on for the second pair, which seems to produce a less ladder-like edge in garter stitch than casting on between stitches.
