Two skeins of luxurious Madelinetosh pashmina worsted in the glorious Spectrum colorway. Finished with 4 grams left on each skein - only up to Chart E plus a few garter stitch rows and a stretchy bind off. (Opted to do Chart E instead of Lace Border since I was not adding beads and didn’t care about the extra lacy YOs on row 17 of the Lace Border. )

Blocked at 68” x 22.5”. Bounced back to 64” x 18.25”.

This was a “take a break from thin yarn and beads” type of project, thus I started this but finished two other shawls – Mustardseed and Out of Darkness – before getting back to this. The MadMay WIP KAL helped. This wouldn’t have taken over a month to knit if done straight through. Finished in time for Mother’s Day! :D

Need another “portable” project for traveling and also to take a break from knitting lace/fingering yarn, so I cast on this worsted weight MadTosh. I usually don’t go beyond Size 8 needles but the beautiful color/feel of the yarn make it tolerable! ;-)

Boo Knit’s released its latest pattern, Mustardseed. Now I have to decide if I want to take this or Mustardseed to NJ with me this week!

Wow - what an enjoyable knit and so fast with bulkier yarn! Ha, I just realized (by looking at the “About this yarn” on the sidebar on my project page) that MadTosh Pashmina Worsted contains 15% silk and 10% cashmere. Not wonder it feels so luxurious! :)
