Notes

I held the Lindy Chain yarn doubled for this pattern. Gives me a nice fabric after washing and the right gauge.

Knitted in the backs of yarnovers throughout the beginning of the pattern to close the holes.

Worked less rounds in the body as I am short waisted and had to use a size 8 needle for the ribbing on the body to keep it from flaring. Only worked about an inch of ribbing as I liked how it looked in the modeled sweater with shorter ribbing. The copy of the pattern I have ends the body with an odd number of stitches so I did a kfb at one side to increase the stitch count by one and make an even number of stitches so that the k1p1 ribbing would come out correctly.

I did not put ribbing on the sleeves as directed in the pattern as I liked the look of the modeled sweater, but instead ended the sleeves with a purled bind off after adding an extra five rows. The linen yarn isn’t inclined to roll so I think that will work fine.

I used the relaxed neckline with no extra finishing.

Even with the Lindy Chain’s chainette construction, the sweater skews a little after washing.
