13.07.2025 In my progress pic it looks like there’s going to be a v-neck but it is not the case. Picking up stitches for button bands.
15.07.2025 Button bands done, they took 13g (2.75 mm). I did not cut the yarn for the button holes, I used yarn overs. I found this method on you tube (Starcrossed knits: double knit button band tutorial).

21.07.2025 I have made neck and sleeve edgings. Now finishing the hem. i had to finish the hem early as I ran out of yarn. Thinking about it now, I could have used less stitches for the peplum, but I followed the pattern. My peplum is 11 cm from the pick up line with 2 cm for folding. That will have to do, as I don’t want to use different yarn at the peplum edge.
I love it and I will probably knit another one later.
