01.07.2026 I’m using fingering weight yarn for this test knit, starting with pink or natural white with pink.
02.07.2026 Short rows done.
03.07.2026 I love how the lace looks with a few specs of red.
04.07.2026 My contrast colour is blue aamusumu by Louhittaren Luola. It is variegated but I like it.
05.07.2026 Working on the second line of small clovers.
08.07.2026 I had finished my yoke when I realized I was not happy with my contrast colour. (Too busy!) So I frogged the last big clovers and lace… But I loved the smaller clovers and continued from there.
10.07.2026 Now I’ve finished the clover motif row and started the lace.
13.07.2026 The yoke is now finished and the body is on my needles. Thinking about the next colours for the body.
28.07.2026 After experimenting with several darker colours, I decided to keep this sweater rather light colourwise. The contrast between the lighter yoke and darker colours on the body was not looking good!
03.08.2026 I started knitting the sleeves. But the body still needs one stripe of clovers and lace.
06.08.2026 I finished the first sleeve! I used smaller needle for the cuff (3.25 mm).
11.08.2026 The second sleeve is finished. Now working the body.

14.08.2026 I finished the body, but I need to block and tuck in the yarn ends. The indoor picture of the unblocked sweater shows the colours as too dark.
