Wondering if I can make the neck wider at the front…
08.09.2025 Cast on for the back piece. (4.25 mm)
09.09.2025 I finished the back and picked up stitches for the left front.
10.09.2025 When starting the right front, I picked up stitches on the wrong side (similarly to the left front), but it was a mistake! The pattern did not say that we should start the actual knitting from the neckline, so I did not really think about it and ended up knitting the short rows at the shoulder instead of the neck. So when I noticed this, there was nothing to do but start the right front again. Why does the pattern not tell us to pick up the stitches starting at the shoulder towards the neck?
11.09.2025 I have successfully joined to knit in the round and almost finished the raglan increases before starting the colorwork.
12.09.2025 Colourwork started.(4.5 mm) Mohair yarn makes it a little fuzzy, so that the stitches don’t have so clear lines as usual. But you can only see it when knitting.
