Heather’s Christmas present - cast on 11.10. I’m very familiar with socks, and toe-up is my preferred method, so I’m basically just using the cable pattern from this on the sock pattern that I already know by heart. That said, if you’re not familiar with socks, maybe try a different pattern first before diving in to these. They’re not all that complicated, but the pattern isn’t all that well written - it pretty much assumes that you’re familiar with basic sock construction.

I also really hate working from written out patterns, so I ended up drawing out a chart for this to get the cable pattern in my head. Once I did that, I found it to be much easier to visualize and remember, so I didn’t have to keep staring at the pattern while I worked.
