I made this hat with the scrap yarn left from the NAU Scarf I made earlier. This is a wonderful pattern, easy and great looking and so versitile.

When knitting for men, I would suggest that where it says, “Knit till piece measure 5.5-6” from beginning, that you increase that to 7”. I think I would also use size 8 needles to make it just a bit bigger.

This Superwash yarn knits up beautifull with great stitch definition and for a hat and scarf, having a washable yarn is critical.
