Following a pattern I’ve knit before when I test knit it for the book printed by The Shetland Times Ltd a few years ago, when knitting for our first grandson George.
Quarry Baby hat and mittens set by Alice Pottinger from Fair Isle Designs by Shetland Knitters Volume 1 a lovely beginner Fair Isle pattern with little repeats and no long ‘floats’. Plus crown decreases are knit with main colour only.
I’m enjoying revisiting this little pattern as a quick and satisfying gift knit for new baby boy.
