Notes

TIPS:

  • Make sure the legs and ears are on the outside of the body for the 3-needle bind off.
  • The feet have one side that’s all knit, one side that’s 2x4 rib. 3-needle bind off the legs with the ribbed side of the feet facing out.
  • The ears have a row that looks like purls as a result of the 3-needle bind-off. Put that side toward the body for the 3-needle bind-off.
  • I put 3 pennies in each foot to weight them. This makes the elephant able to stand more than if they weren’t there.
  • I did not put felt under the eyes.

To keep Isabel company on the blanket I made her out of most of the Marble Chunky.
