Notes

so many knitters have asked
for a seamless version of my triangle jacket.
Now, finally I have done it. a little bit bigger (the gauge) and with a long version, this one is knit without seams from the top down.
I have postponed it from year to year as it is such a complex design to be composed into a seamless version… but now it’s done (happydance!)

I have frogged a lot until I got the construction right so that it will be a smooth knit for you - and even the pockets are integrated (no seaming at all! …
the next step is “just” pattern writing - a new challenge! sweat_smile

Materials

Any yarn matching the gauge, I recommend a yarn with some substance, not too soft/drapey
Worsted or Aran weight (approximately 80-90m/88-99yds per 50g)
Estimated consumption in meters and yards: see page 2
Sample was knit in size M, with double waist shaping, longer length and 5cm/2” ease.
Yarn: De Rerum Natura Gilliatt 250m/270yds/100g. Note: Gilliatt is an economic yarn with a high yardage compared to most other worsted weight yarns. Similar substitutes: Sunday Knits Eden 5ply, Brooklyn Tweed Shelter, Swans Islands pure blends
Differences in gauge and yarn choice will affect the amount of yardage used.
4.5-5mm/US 7-8 needles or size needed for gauge; 80-100cm/32-40” circulars and double pointed needles, and thin circulars (helping needle), stitch markers, waste yarn, crochet hook, 1 cable needle (or double pointed needle), tapestry needle, 4 buttons (5 buttons for longer option)
