27.12.10 Just started on the centrepiece. Half done in a day.
28.12.10. Centrepiece was done rather quickly. I read that many knitters found this dull to knit, but it was quick and easy, so it was ok. Started on the first laceborder. So far so good… Had some problems on how to start the lace. How on earth can you start with a YO when it’s the first thing you do???? I solved it by casting on a stitch before starting to knit. Think it looks alright…
29.12.10 First lace is done, just about started the second one. Nice progress due to cold weather and christmas holiday…..
06.01.11 This is going faster than I expected. Started on the second lace today. I didn’t really understand how the second lace was supposed to attach easily to the first lace, but the pattern was very clear, so it was ok. Wondering how soon I will memorize the pattern….
09.01.11 memorizing didn’t take long, and that means that my knitting speed is increasing. Hurray! I love the way the edging is combined with a cast off. It’s a genius way of doing it! Finished with 2,5 out of 4 laces.
15.01.11 Done! Fantastic pattern, and a fantastic result! Love it love it love it!
