Notes

i’ve wanted to do this one for a while now.

Cast on - it took 4 tries before I was able to get a decent cast on with the first 4 rows knitted. I used this example, it made the most sense to me and the easiest to do

DROPS two color cast on for double knitting

Reading the chart - left to right, right to left? I settled on right to left for all rows. I used markers to help keep my place.

When to switch colors? I switch if the next color block is different, then I knit with the “other” yarn. I don’t think about ‘front’ or ‘back’ either.

This does take concentration, especially not to get the strands twisted. I found this video helpful on how to hold the strands and knit the stitches.. I hold a strand in each hand

9 3/4” x 51” - I did not aggressively block this. I think I could have made it wider.
