I’m knitting Elsie’s Vintage Flapper Hat.

CO 108 stitches onto a size 7 needle, knit brim to pattern adding 2 even rows before the decreases start. I love the Vikkel braid but they are a pain to knit! Changed to size 6’s and knit the body of the hat. I added a second lace repeat, separated by a garter ridge. I was still a few short, knit 3 stockinette rows after the second Vikkel braid to finish out the length. Complete to pattern.

It’s really cute! Seems a bit short but the cotton should relax as I block it. May starch the brim to give it more shape. Just need a flower or pretty brooch to finish off the look.
