Cowl: CO 101 stitches onto a size 8 needle, change to size 7’s and knit in 2x2 ribbing through row 28. Switch to size 6’s and knit through row 42.

I trying to decide if I want to knit the mitt pattern or go for a beanie….too many options I actually ordered more yarn so I can do both! Unfortunately, the new yarn is a completely different colorway that my original yarn, I’m thinking about doing the hat in stripes til I run out of the darker yarn. The mitts will be the lighter color.

Hat: Hat - No pattern per se, just doing a 2x2 ribbed, cuffed beanie to match the cowl. CO 90 stitches onto a size 7 needle and knit in 2x2 ribbing for 2”, change to 6’s and work for another 2”. Switch back to size 7’s and work in pattern til hat measures ~7 - 7 1/2” then decrease in rule of 8’s pattern. Started 9/16, finished 9/18; used 44g (28g of the lighter color, 16g of darker color).
