I chose Talvinen as my April 2021 colorwork project.
I knitted the body slightly A-line and the sleeves 3/4 length.

Collar Ribbing

• Cast on 116 st with 3.25mm needles for a wider neck opening. Modified inc rnd for size 2 yoke see below.
• Knitted the ribbing with 3mm needles.

Yoke

• Switched to main needles 3.25mm
• Modified yoke inc rnd for size 2: K1, (m1L, K3) 14 times, (m1L, K2) 15 times, (m1L, K3) 14 times, K2. 43sr inc; total 160 st.
• Knitted short rows and color work as in pattern.

Body

• Knitted 34 rows of stockinette with 3mm needles
• Switched to 3.25mm needles and knitted 40 rows of stockinette
• Worked body color chart with 3.25mm needles
• Worked hem ribbing for 12 rows and BO with 3mm needles

Sleeves

• Picked up 76 sts
• Worked 74 rows of stockinette with 3mm needles. Decreased 2 sts on row 16, 24, 32, 40, 49, 56, 64 and 72.
• Worked sleeve chart with 3mm needles
• worked cuff ribbing for 8 rows and BO with 2.5mm needles

Neck circumference 17.5”
Chest circumference 37”
Upper arm circumference 10.5”
Lower arm circumference 7”
Lower body circumference 40”
Sleeve length 13.75”
Body length 14” from underarm, 22.5” from front collar
