Bang Out A Sweater Month is nearly here! @modern.daily.knitting is hosting this monthlong event in March featuring the Crowberry Sweater from the latest Field Guide 26, Moss.
I chose my colors the last few weeks with a minor tweak (make sure you check the corrections/errata for yarn quantities as they have changed a bit).

A-D: Winter Blue Heather + Hot Spring Blue
B-E: Light Forest Heather + Westfjord Green
C-F: Faded Denim Heather + Natural White
(I may switch the order of CCs… I did, CCs are now:
CC Yoke: Faded Denim Heather + Natural White
CC Branches: Light Forest Heather + Westfjord Green)

Also, at first I thought I may not knit the bobble berries, but now I’m thinking I may add them afterwards in a vivid pop of color. Yes! I added ‘after bobbles’, like small tight berries. I followed instructions for Barbara Bobbles, using US 4 DPNs and a bit of berry heather Estonian wool (Kauni Sadama 5).

I decided on CC colors that are similar and low contrast with each other to give a washed watercolor effect. So, my interpretation of the yoke pattern…like fresh Spring green sprouting through melting glacier snow.

I just want to emphasize WHAT a difference blocking makes to a finished project. This tee went from too cropped for me to just the right length, a whole 3 inches longer with fierce blocking. And it has a swingy drape that was definitely absent pre-block.
