10/11/10--I knew I wasn’t going to get 16 sts/4” with this yarn. Gauge is 18 sts and 28 rows per 4” so I’m knitting the 5-6 size to get a chest size of 25.33”, which is darn close to the 3T size.

DD has been asking for a purple sweater and this is so cute. After being called Elizabeth since she was born, she decided she wants to be called Lizzy. She just turned four.

10/14/10--kids’ sweaters go so fast! Especially when they’re worsted weight.

10/21/10--finished the knitting a couple of days ago, finally got the buttons on today. They are little butterfly buttons that she picked out. The sleeves do have the one row stripe, you just can’t see it in the pictures because the cuffs are turned up. My gauge was a little bigger than my swatch, so it turned out bigger than planned. She’s a kid, she’ll grow into it!

BTW, this used way less yarn than I thought it would.
