Adapted Brimelow’s pattern to make a scarf to fit SIL’s beloved DOMO! I stitched it in 1/4 scale using a tiny hook. So basically:

sc = 4 rows
hdc = 6 rows
dc = 8 rows

I chained 15 across to begin, then stitched the appropriate number of rows to equal the original pattern. For instance, if the pattern called for 24 rows=3 rows dc; 26 rows= 2dc+1hdc+1sc; etc.

For the fringe, I separated 8” of each color yarn, and joined one ply of each together. Threaded them through a tapestry needle and looped them through the end of the scarf loosely, making each loop about 1/2”. I then sewed over the yarn where it attached to the scarf (anchoring it), and cut the edges of the loop. Viola! Fringe!
