Went to look at others’ projects and realized 50 rows into Section 5 that I have been doing this wrong all along. Instead of tubular, I have been knitting flat (p1k1). Really wrestled with ripping it out, but here is why I decided to keep on with it:

1. I really like the fabric. It’s squishy and thick, has lovely drape, and I think the wonkiness of the p1k1 rib gives it a neat texture.
2. I’ve really struggled with my knitting mojo over quarantine. I just wanna finish something. I honestly believe that if I rip it out, I’ll never restart it.
3. I can love it as it is. I won’t look at it and see my failure every time. I vow to embrace this “design element” and make this MINE. I won’t degrade it, insult it, nor think it lesser. I will check my OCD at the door, for once, and just enjoy this lovely wrap.

Finally finished this up. Still need to wet block it. It’s really lovely.

Gave this to Erin for her cold Northern Indiana winters. She loves it!!! I’m so glad it’s getting more use than sitting in my FO cubby!
