Cast on 2 @ a time for the fronts. Used the Alternative Long Tail cast on (link below) for the 2x2 ribbing match. Love that!

Not a lot of knitting today, but rather a lot of “housekeeping” instead. Realized that I had done the S2KP2 incorrectly so that the right leg of the decrease was on top. Carefully dropped back the stitches on Column 10 to Row 23 and fixed both pieces there and on Row 31 (See circles in Day 3 pic). Quite nerve-racking, but very happy with the results. Caked up two more skeins of yarn and added one skein each front piece on Row 35. Carried old and new strands together for the first eight stitches in the K2P2 ribbing at the under arm edge. Satisfied with how that turned out. (See rectangle in Day 3 pic).

Didn’t like the look after all of the doubled yarn join, so I pulled the tails out and just wove them in vertically along the selvage edge.

Took a break to finish the Starstruck shawl, but I’m done there and back at this WIP. Finished the body last night and casting on the sleeves (2@at, of course!) today.

Used the Sheena’s Stretchy Sock Bind Off (SSSBO) (Modification 1) for the back bind off, found here: susanawinter.net

Again using the Alternative Long Tail Cast On for the sleeve cuffs.

Finished the knit bits! Now on to blocking and seeming. So exciting!

Spent TWO FREAKING HOURS blocking this today. I used every mat and blocker I had, too! Gave myself some extra ease at the hips.
