15 repeats of garter rib before starting gusset.

1000 people have made this pattern and no one has noticed that the number of repeats doesn’t match the total stitch count for the gusset? Am I missing something? I just increased until I had 14 stitches.

Did 8 repeats of the garter rib before starting the flap, then 7 repeats of the garter stitch pattern and bound off on the knit row of the 8th repeat.

Knit 9 rows of stockinette on the thumb before binding off. Seemingly perfect fit!
