10.31.2015 - I finished the hat this evening. The first pompom that I made was much too big. The second, current, one is a bit smaller than I’d like, but I’m okay with it. I’m stating that I used 2 balls of Silver Gray as the second ball was needed to make the pompom. The size of the hat is okay, but if I make it again, I’ll go down a needle size in order to make it a bit more snug.

10.23.2015 - Shrinking a little was the solution for my slightly too large hat. It also softened up the wool. I had only a couple of yards left of the gray wool. I’ve ordered another ball of gray and will make a pompon.

10.08.2015 - I finished the knitting tonight and tried on the hat. It is much too long and the crown is loose. I went down a needle size for the ribbing (to #5) and it’s okay. I’m going to rip back to the ribbing, go down a needle size (to #6) and do fewer rows, possibly starting the shaping a row or two after knitting the sheep. I can’t wear it the way it is now. Moving the progress bar back to 20%.
