Sweater was knitted around 1990/1991. I changed the pattern slightly, using sportweight wool instead of worsted weight cotton. Because I was using a thinner yarn I had to tweak the pattern and add more stitches, extending the graph width and length. Also, I made it as a pullover instead of a cardigan.

The pattern came from an early Rowan magazine, #7, not from the Land’s End booklet, although I think that both patterns might be the same.
