This is a companion trivet/mat to the Serendipity mat. I wanted to have one that was not felted as a comparison to the original. This mat measures about 15”x15”. It was woven out of Patons Classic Wool with two 3.5” Hazel Rose looms--the diamond and the square. This one has 8 diamonds in the center using the Harmony color way, then 8 tiny squares out of light gray, then 8 finishing diamonds out of dark olive. I used dark brown as the edging, which is one round of single crochet and one round of reverse single crochet.

I added a photo of the Serendipity mat laying on top of the Harmony mat…for a further comparison.

I finally got around to felting this trivet/mat and have added that photo .
