For this square I chose Double Moss Stitch (the UK version).

This yarn is knitting up as a light aran, so adjustment in number of stitches cast on. It also feels surprisingly soft.

Cast on 30 stitches and knitted until the length was 6 inches.
I’m working in inches for this because my pressing pad which I’ll use for blocking the squares to the exact size is marked in inches rather than cm.
