An enjoyable knit. Will definitely knit it again.
Loved the yarns I used … the kid silk/Lanark Mill wool combo softened and bloomed beautifully when blocked.
It came up huge because I slightly miscalculated the gauge.
I did a reverse stocking stitch brim as an experiment. It looks nice, but makes the hat brim difficult to fold. That said, showing a touch of grey gives quite a nice effect. My husband said it was comfortable and very warm.
