my 90 year old Grpa who is dying of lung cancer (he has about 3 months to live) is complaining about his head being cold, so I’m doing this quick knit to send to him to wear

I knit this flat instead of in the round (simply because I’ve been knitting Christmas stockings in the round for what seems like forever & I wanted a flat project). The only thing I would change is to make it about a inch longer before I started the decreases.
