I was really proud of myself when I spun my 4oz into 626 yds, just 4yds short of what the pattern specified. Surely, I could stretch it to work! Maybe I’d have to leave out a row of stockinette somewhere…

Around row 20 of the main pattern (well past all the short rows) I realized I had TOO MUCH yarn and would barely see any yellow at all! So I repeated the last lace section.

I also changed up the final rows to make a less extreme point and more of a soft flutter to the edge. We’ll see how it looks fully blocked, but the points should be smaller. I have high hopes, as even unblocked I’m really happy with the shape and how the color changes came out.
