I had terrible trouble following the pattern for this, I kept dropping stitches, and stuffing up the design. Endless ripping out and reknitting! Not the pattern’s fault, but the heavy duty medication I was on at the time, and being partially blind at the time.

Knitted the 4 side pieces in the round, with just 1 purl stitch between them (ie no seaming). Knitted the top and bottom pieces flat, and separately.

Added most of the pink in duplicate stitch, i think it gives a neater finish, with less puckering of the fabric.

Stuffed with firm foam cut to shape, and with some pieces of pewter tucked into the middle for added weight.

NB : the pattern grid has only 9 stitches in the first division (marked by a red line) not 10, when reading from right to left. The designer has drawn up the grid to go 9 : 10 : 10 : 10 (for a total of 39 stitches). Be careful of this when starting to set up the pattern, as the stitch count will be out if you assume the red line marks 10 stitches on the grid.
