What can I say? I’m a Monkey Sock pattern lover. So I’m using it for a hat.

Cast on 64 stitches…on my 3rd pattern repeat…Will need to figure out a way to decrease for the crown and keep the pattern pretty, but I’m semi-clever so I’m sure I’ll come up with something.

Oh and I did! I love love love the crown of this hat!

Finished hat just in time for the party. It is a little big, but that just means Natalie can keep growing. :)

What I did with my trusty Addi Turbos (US8):

Cast on 64 stitches
Knit 10 rounds of 1x1 twisted rib.
Knit 4 lace charts
For the 5th lace repeat, I omitted the YOs.
When I had 8 stitches left in each pattern, I switched to DPNs (8 per needle)
Then I reversed the decreases:
SSK, K to last 2, K2tog
When I had 8 stitches remaining, I pulled the yarn through all 8 stitches and weaved in the end.
