A totie wee cardi for Blair, born 9 1/2 weeks early and weighing in at 3lb 12oz. This is kitted for when he is about 5lb, don’t think he’ll be wearing many cardis before then.

Cast on 88, 4” garter stitch, divided 22 - 44 - 22 for fronts and back. Decreased fronts by 1st every 4th row to 11 st.

Slipped the first st of each row purlwise, so when adding the band, picked up every slipped st and it worked really well. Total length = 7”.

Same for sleeves- picked up 44 st in total. Dec 2 st after 8 rows - 8 rows - 8 rows - 12 rows. Knitted to just under 4” in total.

Proportions all look fine, might have made it a we bit shorter in the body before dividing for the sleeves.
