Cushions for my sister Rebecca and her husband Scott. Wanted to do some elegant monogram cushions and these have worked really well - going to put on a fabric back. Then to give them a laugh I made the wee cushion in the same style with a heart on one side and a scowl on the other, to be arranged as appropriate! Knitted up really quickly, one a night. Added the shading to the letters with a back stitch after I’d finished knitting.

To work out the monogram pattern, I made my design up in Photoshop, then printed it in scale (half size in this case) onto knitting graph paper I’d created on the internet - website called something like tatao-tato. Worked brilliantly. Felt very clever!
