Knitted band.

100 stitches. I frogged the cast-on because it was becoming too wide. I intend to reknit the beginning together with some elastic yarn and a smaller needle. I might even do a few k2togs as the knitted band grows every time you put it on your head. This cheap acrylic yarn has no stretch at all.

But I love the looks sofar. Hopefully my 8 yo wil enjoy wearing it.

Edit to add: frogging the knitted band did not work, putting in elastic thread didn’t work either. We’ll just have to wait and see how this beanie will behave.
