Notes

Had the yarn and needles at a doctor’s appointment in GB with my husband, and needed something to knit.

Feather and fan is a 12 st repeat, so I cast on 84 stitches.
Did 4 row garter band after CO. The launched into F&F.

The bottom of the hat started to look a bit big, so I decided it would look cool as a form of ruffle.
Gauge is roughly 4.5 st/in.
Baby head circ is ~16 in? or so that should be 72 st..

Did 3 repeats of F&F (4 rows each); now I might do a few rounds of garter again, while decreasing 12 st around.
(P5 P2tog around)

As you see on the finished project, I did an eyelet round, and then added an i-cord thread, with a little flower on it. This turned out so cute! I love how the feather and fan gave a little ruffled edge to the hat.
