I didn’t want to use heavy super bulky pure wool and it’s going to need regular washing so I used acrylic chunky and got gauge using double stitches.

I could have found it useful for some schematics and if there was some kind of descriptive narrative about the joining process as you just have to blindly follow the pattern.

I won’t be able to judge how well I’ve done until it’s sewn up!

The tie seemed to take ages as it’s 60 inches long.

Sewing took about 3 hours.

It’s a lovely design and looks beautiful on!!
