designer is not kidding when she says knit the edge stitches LOOSELY; if I could re-do it I would double wrap them on the RS and drop the extra wraps on the WS, because as it is now the fabric in the main part of the shawl buckles a bit. though it does make for some nice shoulder shaping.

worked a crochet bind off (sc 3 together, chain 5, repeat) rather than the standard one in pattern because I can never get it loose enough.
