I ended up not even using all of the yarn. I had enough left over to sew up the buttons and send a small ball for emergency fixes.

I had trouble with the pattern instructions where it did not explain about how to double the strands only on the first 2 stitches of every ending row. So I ended up taking one ball of yarn and making two smaller balls of yarn, then using three balls of yarn throughout. It wasn’t too difficult but would have saved time if I had known that beforehand as this was the first DROPS pattern I’ve done.

Overall, I loved this project. I may work up three more for my nieces for Christmas next year.
