Using Nova Cubics Platina needles, at least for the start.
Having only just completed weaving in the last ends of my previous stupidly-easy shawl, I was inspired to begin another after seeing this video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=780&v=ybysK...
Then I saw this project: https://www.ravelry.com/projects/lazyknits/eidolon
Unlabelled ‘baby’ yarns - inherited from Sylvia’s stash or acquired in bags of yarns from secondhand stores - abound in my wool room. So, this effort to use up at least some of them has begun. The colours will be mostly whites, some pastels, fewer non-‘baby’ colours. Thicknesses will vary, hopefully going gradually from thinnest to thickest. Needle sizes will probably follow suit.
After the one-row garter tab, the ‘pattern’ is two rows repeated ad nauseum:
k3, yo, k to last 3, yo, k3.
k3, kok, k to last 3, kok, k3.
(kok = in the yo of the previous row, k1, yo, k1).
Unusually for me, I am not working a slip stitch selvedge. All first and last stitches are knitted.

I’m not thrilled with how taut the 3-stitch selvedge seems. I’m not ripping it out though, because I already have the next few balls of yarn lined up. Next is a light blue. Then another white, a dark fuzzy blue, and more white. That should be enough, if it’s not too much.

Finally found this project’s project page!
Photo of completed shawl taken on July 10 at Sunday Morning Knitting Meeting.
Next stop, washer/dryer. Then, storage until cooler weather returns.
I never did change needle sizes.
