Just began the third ball (of five) white in round 22.

Well, despite using the hook provided and following the pattern exactly, it’s still too full to lie flat. If I crochet another, it’ll be only 11 wedges.

The fourth ball of white has just run out - four and a half wedges around Round 31.

34 rounds of white from the five balls of white, with barely enough to weigh leftover!

22” diameter - just the white.

Now, to look up (again!) how to do the green section of the border.

I wasn’t happy with the leaves, so this stalled. Now, I have a different pattern for greenery (leafless) AND flowers in an uncut round!

For now, I’m keeping the greenery (a round of sc, ch2/sk2, and a round of sc in every sc and 2 in each ch2 space.

I’m delighted with them! So, that’s next on this almost finished project, and it’s probably how all the other kits will be done.

Lots of leftover red! This minimal flower border, besides saving yarn from not cutting, seems to consume a lot less yarn than either of the two previous flower borders I have used. I love it!
