My sister asked me to make her the simple scarf for her for her birthday. It is a simple black and yellow tower, mostly yellow which stands for the the gold bricks - the tower was created by the YouTube channel Rooster Teeth whilst playing Minecraft.
It’s my first real project after I learnt to knit a month or so ago so I thought it was good to start off simple.

Note: If anyone wants to make it here’s the very simple pattern I improvised:
All garter stitch
I cast on 72 stitches, though its probably best to do a few less as it was a bit wide.
The first black block at the bottom was 30 rows, then I changed to citron and did 40 lines then changed to black for what should be 2 lines when you are looking from the right side. Be careful to ensure all there are only two black rows when facing the right side.
There are four citron blocks in total, each at 40 rows with 3 individual thin black lines in between.
When done cast off and weave in ends, or alternatively weave in ends as you go as it took me at least two hours to do them all at the end.
I blocked it as it was my first project and there were many imperfections to smooth out, and to do that I simply wet it under a tap and lay it out straight on the work top to dry over night.
