Using the pattern as a guide as I am only using 3 colours. I’m worried that some sections will look awful because there will be less contrast as compared to the original design. No matter, I love knitting this.

23 Feb 2013: Started early this morning, but had to frog back to the start as I introduced a third colour (Graphite). Worked up to the third colour section before giving it a rest.

24 Feb 2013: Finishing section 1 tonight, loving the stack of colours. The fabric is so soft and luxurious, as can only be expected from this yarn. The pick-ups are a bit wonky but I suppose blocking will even them out.

25 Feb 2013: On Section 2 now, which are longer rows so they take time. Still loving it.

27 Feb 2013: On Section 5. I didn’t bind off the ends of sections 3 and 4 but put the stitches on waste yarn. I’d rather have a clean join than pick up.

1 Mar 2013: Finished the sections during meet-up with the Amiras. Picked up top edge and did 8 rows before heading to bed. Hope to finish it tomorrow for show-and-tell with Monday knit group.

3 Mar 2013: Done! Blocking right now, but measurements are 84inches long by 16.25inches wide.
