Using a thinner yarn so not sure how the final measurements will compare to the original design.

St. Patrick’s Day, 2015: Knitted up to 23 inches now. I’m not following the sections strictly since I messed up the first lace section. Loving how the silk feels in my hands!

19 Mar 2015: Done! I sort of wavered away from Carrie’s instructions but stayed within its limits.

Using a thinner yarn to begin with meant my cowl will be different anyway. Then I didn’t see the errata for the first lace section before I was past it so had to adjust the rest of the cowl to make up for it.

The first lace section is shorter than the second section, owing to me missing the errata.

I also altered the stripe section and did 2 rows each instead of following the suggested stripes. Only because
I was worried that the yarns carried up the side would show too much.

I am happy with the length I got but will soak and block it before I measure the final cowl.

Absolutely love working with the yarn and the quick changes in the pattern made it a very interesting knit.
