Notes

Been eyeing this shrug for ages. I realised I have no garment on the needles and this looks like a quick one so I’m casting on while my beads are in transit for the Summer Wind.

21 Nov 2012: Long tail cast on using one strand of scrap yarn and one strand of Pashmina. Didn’t do any measurements or swatching but decided to add 2 repeats of the lace panel so 121 sts in total.

23 Dec 2012: Body is blocking, just the ribbing to do now.

27 Dec 2012: Feels a bit snug and wish I added more ribbing on the body but otherwise okay. Still ribbing on the armhole now.

Picked up 62sts for the armhole, did 20 rows of 1x1 ribbing, used suspended bind off.

Picked up 186 sts for the body ribbing, did 24 rows of 1x1 rib, suspended bind off.

I want to knit this again, with more repeats to lengthen it and one more repeat across to get a better fit.
