Frogged the socks I was knitting with this yarn as I lost love for it. Decided to use it for a baby boy cardigan for an officemate.

4 Jun 2013: The pattern, which is free (thank you, Tanis!), is great but it has a few rather confusing bits. Thanks to the notes on this project for making it a lot less complicated.

8 Jun 2013: Knitted most of the body today. Stopped at 5 inches and started the garter hem on the WS, 7 rows then bind off on the RS knitwise using 5mm needles.

9 Jun 2013: Picked up 3 extra stitches on the underarm for the sleeves. Decreasing as per pattern.

10 Jun 2013: Picked up second sleeve.
All done!

Mods: Yoke increases as per link above. I mirrored the cables because the OCD in me just won’t have it any other way. Five sets of decreases on the sleeves then 5 rows of plain knitting when I got to 32sts and 4 garter ridge edging as per the hem.
