Found out about a KAL for this free pattn on Instagram. And I’m such a sucker for KALs. Also finally found something to do with this old skein of yan.

1 Jan 2013: Working out okay so far but would have been faster if it was charted. I contacted the designer about doing charts, will see if I can get it sorted.

2 Jan 2013: Almost finished the first mitten today but I gotta sleep some time. Worked up really well so far. Will pick up the thumb and start second mitten tomorrow. Oh the joys of being unemployed!

4 Jan 2013: What a joy to knit! Simple, easy and quick. Highly recommended!
