Notes

An ongoing project full of socks! Instead of creating a project page for each and every pair of socks I knit (and I love knitting socks!), this project page is going to be a gallery for ALL the socks that I make from here on, if it’s not pattern-based.

I will update this page for each entry. So watch this space!

PROJECTS AS FOLLOWS:

Pink/Mustard: Stripes - Finished 30th January 2015. DH took a fancy to them… and pinched them! sniff! :’-{

Red Swirly pattern: - Finished 11th September 2014 using a reclaimed yarn from an old shawl project. Yarn: Old Maiden Aunt 4ply “Gothic”. This sock was just a ‘design-as-I-go’ project with no real agenda or planning. I like projects like that!

Blue/Grey Stripe Socks: - Finished 28th July 2014
Flamboyance Yarns “Meteor” (blue) with Stellina sparkles & “Dashing” (grey). These socks were made from the cuff down as a simple tube, with an afterthought heel. Each stripe is 10 rows apart.

Electric Peacock Stripes - 13-09-2016

Green/Purple/Blue - Ankle socks using Truly Hooked’s “Electric Peacock” self striping sock yarn.

Pompom socks x 3

Just some simple Aran weight socks that were made using the Addi Prof (22). The heel turns are tricky and not very neat, but you get the gist of it. Makes good bed socks instead of regular socks.

Rainbow-corn socks

Yarn that came with matching knickers! LOL! I made matching bed socks with the yarn. What fun!

Moorside Alpaca Socks

A simple pair of warm and cosy socks using Moorside Alpaca yarn, held double. Made with the Addi 22, then hand knitted the cuff and toes.

Sushi Roll Rainbow Socks

Toe up, 2aat. A little kit using Unbelievawool’s sushi roll sock blank in rainbow gradient colours. It came complete with a small ball of contrast colour sock yarn. Love this! rainbow
