I made this in a lilac ombré for my first big crochet project and loved it so much I wanted to make another in a better colorway.

Couldn’t find exactly the colors I wanted so I settled for this orange/brown variegated. Like my first attempt at this pattern, I shifted the decreases on the tail portion of the body to draw it slightly upwards and give the body a little more shape, and added rings around the eyes and a few additional fins.

I did finally find the orange and white I’ve been looking for in a mill end bag. It worked up perfectly for my third fish.
