Mods: I knit cables tight, and knitting aran yarn on small needles is a drag, so I opted for size 7 needles.

A full repeat of the first 18 rows wood have made a hat too long for my small head, so I knit a second repeat of rows 1-12 then started the crown shaping. Change stitches 12 and 13 of row 12 to purls to make it match row 18. Fits well as a beanie. Photos are pre-blocking.
